The CSS Annual Report outlines ways in which Catholic Social Services of the Archdiocese of Wellington has supported people to start to flourish again in families and communities.
The work of Wellington CSS in the 2020/2021 financial year has included social work support to individuals and families faced with challenges; hospital and prison chaplaincy to people at vulnerable times in their lives; leading the Archdiocesan response to the Afghan Evacuee crisis; continuing to support refugee resettlement in Wellington through setting up homes and collecting household and pantry items; Seasons for Growth Companion training, and Community Facilitation.
