Clergy Healthcare Coordinator
The role of the Clergy Healthcare Coordinator is to support and assist the Archdiocese in the care of their clergy both in active ministry and retirement.
To build trust with the individual, to be able to monitor, coordinate and initiate healthcare services for them regardless of their age or role within the Archdiocese, while treating them with dignity and respect they deserve.
To advocate when necessary with Government and /or Healthcare agencies to ensure that they have access to all services and resources available.
To encourage independence and activities that will stimulate both mental and physical health.
To ensure that when the individual reaches the end stage of his life, that he receives the best possible care in accordance with his wishes, while maintaining dignity and respect.
