The country is now at Level-2 in its campaign to fight COVID-19. Staff at Catholic Social Services are looking forward to returning to their office under Level-2 but protective procedures eg hand-sanitizing, social distancing and limiting numbers will be operating to ensure the safety of both clients and staff.
CSS social workers return to the office on Monday 18th May 2020. However as the building remains locked, all visits to the office must be pre-arranged by calling Ph 04 385 8642 or 027 40 55 469.
Under Level 3 and Level 4 restrictions, CSS continued to provide services using phone and video conferencing to keep in contact with clients and our communities. Zoom meetings for clients were introduced and proved very effective where interpreters were also needed for the meeting and kept everyone safe at the same time.
But there comes a time when people really want to see each other in person and under the Level-2 ‘Play it Safe’ Ministry of Health guidelines, we can now do this. We look forward to seeing you again soon!
