In April 2024, Jess our Seasons for Growth Trainer/Coordinator, facilitated a two-day workshop, training eight new companions in the Seasons for Growth Children and Young Persons’ intervention program. The diversity of participants in these workshops is always awe-inspiring. This recent training session included two chaplains, two social workers in schools, one Learning Support Coordinator, two teachers/school leaders, and one teacher aide.

The workshop equips participants with the knowledge and tools to plan and facilitate an educational program that helps children and young people navigate their world after experiencing change or loss and better understand their grief.  Attendees not only gain valuable insights and skills but also forge connections and potential collaborations with other community members dedicated to supporting children and young people.
