The Kotahitanga Appeal - unity/togetherness/collective action

As the social outreach agency of the Catholic Archdiocese of Wellington,

Catholic Social Services works on behalf of all in response to Christ’s call

to serve the poor and the marginalised in our society.

In order to better achieve its purpose, Catholic Social Services

recently moved from providing centralised services out of the Wellington CBD

to a new partnership model that operates in communities and on the peripheries.

No one knows the challenges a community faces better than the community itself.

For this reason, Catholic Social Services is now focused on supporting parish communities to work

collaboratively with organizations, agencies, groups, and individuals to address local needs.

Why Catholic Social Services does what it does has not changed, only the how.

The Kotahitanga Appeal is an invitation to join in this effort by making a financial gift in support of the work we do.

Your gift is much more than just the money you give, it is also an expression of faith in action.

Your heartfelt support means that together, we can respond to the call of the Gospel and impact the lives of

individuals and families experiencing the greatest need in our communities.
